Your continuing medical education (CME) diploma/confirmation is valid until the end of 2012. Are you interested in verifying the CME credits you have gained during the past three years, in order to receive another diploma or confirmation in allergology and clinical immunology, valid until the end of 2015?
On the CME platform of SIME, the Swiss Institute of Medical Education (SIWF, Schweizerischen Instituts für ärztliche Weiter – und Fortbildung), you can now file your CME activities online and print out your diploma yourself. The executive committee of SSAI has decided to join the SIME platform. This platform is at your disposal immediately in a secure area exclusively reserved for you. You can find out about its advantages for you as well as further information at http://www.fmh.ch/bildung-siwf/fortbildung/fortbildungsplattform.html
The only requirement is that you have a login – account for myFMH. On the www.fmh.ch website, you will find the details necessary to register. At FAQs you will find answers to frequently asked questions regarding the different registration possibilities.
Here it is also explained how you can apply for a diploma for both titles, if you hold two titles. The SSAI recommends this particularly for those members working as primary healthcare providers (especially in GP practices).
It is no longer possible to send your personal declaration form to the secretarial office. But as some have already done the work, it is possible to order the diploma online without filling in all details. As previously, we will check in detail the data provided by 10% of applicants. In this case you would have to send all details online.
If you any questions or concerns, please just contact office(at)ssai.ch and we will help you.
